⚙️ The update was completed on the morning of its release. As for the ¥688/year Apple Developer Beta account, it's actually not required. You just need to register your Apple ID on the Apple Developer Beta website to receive the developer beta.
📱 After three days of use, the bugs in this version of the beta are not as severe as in previous major beta releases. Instead of experiencing lag, the performance feels even smoother. There is some heating though!
📣 Let me mention a few updates that I personally like!
1. Apple Music UI changes: The addition of a full-screen dynamic cover in the playback interface is a nice and advanced upgrade. The playback control window has also become a floating element.
2. Interactive widgets: This feature deserves praise. After three generations of supporting widgets since iOS 14, they finally have interactive functionality. Currently, most native apps can be interacted with (Music, Podcasts, Reminders, Shortcuts, etc.). When the stable version is released, third-party apps will also quickly catch up, greatly improving efficiency.
3. Personalized incoming call interface: This seems like a fancy feature added by Apple. It may not have much practical use, but it does look good.
📌 There are also some interesting minor upgrades, such as the "Screen Distance Detection" added to the screen usage time. I think it's more friendly towards children, but a bit strict for adults. It's easy to activate, and I turned it off after using it for a day.
Overall, iOS 17 feels like Apple didn't squeeze out much toothpaste this time. Could it be that their focus is mainly on Vision Pro? 🤔️
