我又失去中文表达欲了,决定用英文试试,装个b 写下最近的一些insights or Perspective ?
Lately, I’ve been kind of obsessed with what I’d call an “unclear reality” — you know, things you can’t quite put your finger on. Relationships that don’t fit neatly into a box. Boundaries that, no matter how hard you try, just don’t really exist.
People love certainty. They love knowing exactly where they stand, because, you know, it makes them feel safe. But here’s the funny thing: sometimes that safety is exactly what makes everything boring.
So maybe every now and then, you gotta be okay with not knowing. With things being a little messy. A little ambiguous.
We’re always looking for the ending, right? We want to know how the story turns out. And if there’s no resolution, we get uncomfortable. We feel like something’s missing.
But lately, I’ve been thinking... maybe that unresolved feeling is actually the interesting part.
There’s something kind of beautiful about not knowing how it’s gonna turn out. It leaves the door open. Anything could happen.
And I think there’s this really fascinating tension between clarity and uncertainty — between knowing exactly what something is and having absolutely no idea what the hell you’re looking at.
You hear it in music, especially modern music. Guys will deliberately blur the tonal center, mix different scales, throw in chromatic movement and half-step approaches, and suddenly you’re sitting there thinking, “Okay... what key are we actually in?”
And why do that? Especially in jazz?
I think maybe it’s because our lives have gotten so damn stable. We spend all day looking for security, routine, something we can count on. But somewhere underneath all that, there’s still this little part of us that wants to discover something.
Wants to explore.
And maybe the more variation you introduce, the less certain things become — and somehow, the more fascinating they get.
