C Blankness (图2)
The most beautiful and perfect book in the world is a book with only blank pages.
A Categorical(图3)
To create a novel design language for a book is not necessary. A book can readily be organised according to obvious categorical devices.
The line: a categorical device, a sorting device.
X Diagram(图4)
The idea becomes a machine that makes the art.
A diagram is a prop. It exists to establish that a project's thinking space has been activated, before visual production begins.
I Asset(图6)
The studio would design, print, bind, and distribute a book just for its assets.
Each object is a word in a sentence.
Each word is an object placed in graphic space.
The process is the work. The object is never the work.
An idea of ownership through time isn't meaningful.
If you safeguard you ego, you construct your own prison.
Nothing exsits outside the sphere of capitalism.
Without unpaid domestic labour the family ceases to exist.
